Professor David Gutiérrez Colominas has received the Award for the article with the greatest potential impact presented in the Journal of Co-operative Studies (REVESCO), for the article “Decent work and worker co-operative societies: Proposals for implementation in Law 27/1999”, which was published in issue 139 (2021). The recognition was made on the occasion of the organisation’s 11th Awards for Research and Teaching in the field of participatory organisations, corresponding to the 2020-2021 academic year.
In the article, the lecturer from the Faculty of Law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona analyses the legal status of worker co-operatives, as a framework in which to develop an update of the current regulation (Law 27/1999) that implements “decent work” (SDG number 8 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development).
