The Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE-WUR 2023), places UAB in 183rd position in the world in the 2023 edition, maintaining the second position in the State.
Compared to the 2022 edition, in the field of teaching the University has improved in the percentage of doctoral graduates per undergraduate, in income per academic and in the ratio of students per academic. As for research, it maintains an important strength in the indicator of citations per article (the one with the greatest weight in the ranking as a whole), and there is also an improvement in articles published by PDI, in private income allocated to research and in the percentage of international PDI.
